The Research Team in Applied Mathematics and Social Sciences (ERMASS) is a research unit aimed at training high-level researchers and professionals in the fields of mathematics related to social sciences. Based at the University of Yaoundé I (UYI), it includes members from several universities in Cameroon (University of Yaoundé I, University of Douala, University of Maroua) as well as members from outside Cameroon spread across several countries (France, Belgium, USA, Canada, etc.). The themes developed within ERMASS revolve around game theory (cooperative games and non-cooperative games) while also including research areas in mathematical economics, finance, and graph theory.
